Organized by a team of dedicated music lovers, Denim & Lightning Festival is a one-day indoor event in the heart of the Ruhr Area, known for its carefully curated international line-up, raw industrial setting, and electrifying atmosphere built for loud guitars and high-energy performances.

𝗡𝗲𝘄 𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗺 𝗺𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿

The festival was founded by Mirjam Sieben, frontwoman of The Dirty Denims, who teamed up with Kersten Lamers from KL Concerts & Promotion. They are now proud to welcome Brad Marr to the Denim & Lightning team. As the driving force behind Hot Socket Music, Marr brings extensive international experience and a strong network within the global rock scene, marking an exciting new chapter for the festival.

𝗙𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁 𝗯𝗮𝗻𝗱𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗻𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗱

The first names on the 2027 line-up showcase the festival’s signature mix of established and high-energy acts. Tygers of Pan Tang bring their legendary New Wave of British Heavy Metal energy and classic riffs, Dobermann deliver raw, high-octane rock ’n’ roll straight from Italy, and The Dirty Denims round it off with their signature blend of catchy hooks and feel-good, high-energy Hard Rock. In 2027, the festival will expand from a five- to a seven-band line-up, and bands are now invited to apply for a chance to perform at this edition as well.
